SoberPath helps people stay strong in their recovery journey
SoberPath is your structured, digital companion on the journey to an alcohol-free life. Instead of carrying everything alone, you have a private space to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and daily experiences – and to see more clearly what supports you, what triggers you, and what truly matters to you.
Many people struggling with alcohol face the same daily challenges:
SoberPath aims to ease some of this weight by giving you a discreet, digital community that can be with you wherever you are in the world. It is a place to feel seen, encouraged, and reminded that you are not doing this alone.
What you can do in SoberPath:
SoberPath is designed for adults aged 18 and over who want extra support with discretion, digital tools, and the power of community and motivation. Our platform is not a replacement for real-life AA meetings or for psychologists and professional addiction counselors. It is a complement: a safe, encouraging space that supports you in everyday life and helps you stay focused on your most important goal – a sober, self-determined life.
A growing body of research shows that alcohol problems are changeable, and that recovery is much more common than many people think. At the same time, alcohol use is still linked with millions of deaths worldwide each year, which makes early support and good information especially important.
Number of people with alcohol use disorders in the World over the years:
In one large longitudinal study of people with alcohol use disorder, around 87 % recovered from their first episode by about age 30, even though some later experienced a recurrence. Other work has found that how satisfied people feel with their recovery matters: each one-point increase in self-rated “happiness with recovery” was linked with a higher likelihood of being abstinent and staying in treatment. This suggests that both time in recovery and the quality of that time play a role in long-term outcomes.
Positive psychology and journaling approaches are also being tested in clinical settings. Recent trials of positive recovery journaling and related interventions report that structured, strengths-focused writing can be feasible, acceptable, and linked to improvements in wellbeing, mood and recovery resources. This supports the idea behind SoberPath’s daily reflections: small, meaningful check-ins can make life in recovery feel more rewarding and sustainable.
At the same time, global data from organisations like the World Health Organization show that alcohol still contributes to millions of deaths each year.

And that only a minority of people with alcohol use disorder receive professional help. Understanding both the risks and the real possibilities of recovery can help people make informed, hopeful decisions about their next steps.

SoberPath builds on this research by offering you a space to notice progress, document what is going well, and stay connected to your reasons for change – while encouraging you to make use of professional care, local services and peer support whenever they are available.
SoberPath is designed to support you in your daily life – but it is not meant to replace in-person support groups, addiction services, or professional treatment. Many people find it most helpful to combine digital tools with real-world help from doctors, therapists, peer groups and helplines.
If you are worried about your drinking, or about someone close to you, it can be a strong and brave step to reach out for help. Below are some types of support you can explore. Availability depends on where you live, so it is always a good idea to search for local services in your own country or region.
Reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness – it is a sign that you are taking your health and your future seriously. SoberPath can walk with you day by day, but deep and lasting recovery often becomes stronger when you combine digital tools with professional care and supportive communities in the real world.
A kind, judgment-free community to support your recovery journey.
